Travels: Barcelonaaaa

So after Benicassim, we got the train to Barcelona and whilst 99% of Benicassim'ers were on their way to the airport, our huge European adventure still lay ahead! We checked in to the nicest AirBnb I have EVER stayed in in my life.... (think the huge security gates and pool kinda vibes)! The first couple of days were spent revisiting our favourite spots from last year, wandering around El Raval popping into cute artsy shops (and every single Inditex group shop we passed) and going on the most dodgy guided tour of my life. This year we  also shelled out on Park Guell which was nice but my personal highlight was our trip up Tibiado hill. Chances are, anyone who's been to Barcelona has seen  the huge mountain in the distance with a church and ferris wheel at the top of its silhouette...this is Tibiado... a slightly bizarre place where a fairground and huge cathedral-like church share grounds. It's totally worth the hour long bus journey from central just to see the INSANE views. We took it a step further and got the lift to the top of the church which cost next to nothing and is absolutely totally worthwhile, I promise you.
