Inspiration: Vertical Flowers Installations

I first heard of Rebecca Louise Law from an article on This Is Colossal  and soon everyone was blogging about her too. Whilst not as impressive as the images below of her Berlin show, I did manage to go and see a piece of her installation work at St Christophers Place, a courtyard just off Marylebone high street. Whilst there I came to the simple realisation that lining florals up in an orderly fashion like this was one simple way to imitate a folk art 'look' and with this sketchbook drawing I intend to create inverted prints in matching colours of turquoise, pink and yellow. In turn, this could possibly used as kitchen wallpaper which would compliment the children's crockery and accessories without dominating the space inappropriately or being too childish.
