Out&About: Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Warning: this post is going to literally glow orangey-red-ish-pink. I recently got a new phone and the camera is literally amazing, but i'm not quite sure why it's done this! Makes it look quite warm and cosy anyways...  ;) I know I said only yesterday that I wouldn't have time to blog the Christmassy things this year and as much as I don't like Christmas being over commercialised and whatnot (and charging £8 for fairground rides etc that is exactly what winter wonderland is) it is way too magical for me to care! My housemates and I went to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland after our Christmas meal (in the oh-so-traditional Nandos) and after I'd begged and begged for us to go there instead of a pub! We had less than an hour in the park and not a penny to spend, but just the atmosphere is soo lovely, you have to be there to understand! The market is by far my favourite bit, so many adorable products lit by warm cosy lights in little wooden huts, but there's also a fairground, a circus, ice skating, all the food and drink you could ever crave and by night it is just a beautiful place to be :) I don't really recommend visiting in the daytime as the lights are 80% of the fun if you've no money to spend!
